AMOC Race Meeting Mallory Park May 2010

AMOC Historic Race 20 min:-

2nd overall. 1.1 sec behind the race winner Anne Reed (first female AMOC race winner).

1st on handycap.

Fastest Lap 61 sec.

A good race 7 sec behind at one point but started to catch up over the last few laps.

Managed to get level at one point but blocked by a back marker. Very enjoyable race and congratulations to Anne.

AMOC 50's Sport car Team Challenge:-

2nd Team Overall.

My best lap was at the end of the race with 63 sec.

Car died on the grid at the start for some reason I think I oiled it up in the holding area, by the first corner all the cars we gone.

On about the 12th lap the car came back to life with a splutter and over the last 4-5 laps I started to make up some time but far far to late.

Even so due to the efforts of my team mate David Reed and my little effort we managed 2nd team overall.

Thanks to Davron for the race support.
