Thursday 45 mins Practice in dry weather.

It was decided wisely that we would have a practice on the Thursday before the qualifying on Friday this was for may benefit as I had never sat in the car before never mind race it around Spa. This proved very useful for both Julian Bailey-Watts (car owner) and me.

I managed a lap time of 3Mins 07secs  on my penultimate lap but I think I was a bit faster on my last lap but came into the pits to see if Julian wanted a few more laps before the end of our session.

I must say in the dry although a handful Flacon El was great fun to drive providing you fully respected the power.

Time for Julian to pit at about 35Mins. Darren is in full control.

I ask how is it Julian"very slippery" Oh S--T

I was slow to go out.
We pitted in 35th position quite late and I went back onto the track after the pit stop into 53rd position. I made it up to 48th over the next few laps but then double yellow waved flags and a SC board slowed me down which allowed any cars past the accident to catch up an again 1 lap.

Going into Bus Stpped got hit from behind by DB6 on Last lap and lost about 40 secs and another lap.

Trying to start the car

Flume of smoke got car going again

The Finish
The Pit Girls (does that sound right if not its Julians fault as he is team leader)
