Overall I has very pleased with the result and I was beaten in class  C by only by 2 x  Aston Martin DB3's and a Maserati 300S. The only time I get in front of them is during a pit stop.

The track was very hot by the end of the race and the car was lacking a little power due to the heat. I had hoped that I would significantly improve my lap time in the race but could only improve by 0.2sec, I think mainly due to the heat and lack of experience at this track.

A very enjoyable meeting with both Qualifying and the race completed with no issues other than the heat in the car. I think it was probably the hottest I have ever been in a race car anywhere.

Other Paddock Pictures and races:-

Two Racing Picture for comparison:-

Steve did not quite make it to the centre of the picture.
We think Steve was saving fuel as most was being burnt off in the exhaust.
