Aston Martin Historic Centenary Race:-Qualification:-Grid Size:- 26Qualification Position:- 11Best Lap:- 2.02.106

The Aston DB2 Lightweight Le Mans was the second Feltham car on the grid only behind DB4's, GT's and a Zagato.

The lap time was not great as after a few laps the car would start to miss fire.

It was decided not to run the car in the centenary race which was very disappointing as I was very hopeful for a podium finish and possibly the win as Chris Jolly had a cracked cylinder head and also pulled out of the race.

This ws a great Aston Martin Festival with good weather and big crowds. Lets hope it runs next year and possibly include a concourse event for the Astons as well to further increase the interest and crowds.
